The Mobile Vet Unit

PETSinc and Lexington County Animal Services joined forces to make veterinary care available to everybody.

Yesterday, I was asked to document the PETSinc Mobile Veterinarian Unit's visit to the Lexington Animal Shelter on Ball Park Road. The turn out was amazing!

There were so many dogs and cats - every shape and size. Some came for more affordable vet checks, some to be microchipped and some were brought in by a local cat rescue for their first vaccinations.

Kudos to Lexington County Animal Services for hosting this event! Shelter staff organized the set-up so nobody had to stand on asphalt (asphalt gets extremely hot and is dangerous to our pet's paws) and they also made sure water was set out for pets to cool off with. It was heart-warming to see the staff reconnecting with pets they had helped to adopt and home.

The PETSinc Mobile Veterinary Unit provides low cost exams, vaccinations, bloodwork, dewormers, microchips, heartworm and flea preventions and much more. They travel to many locations all over the state and the response/turnout is always great.
